Each Volunteer Fellow we work with is invited to an exclusive Volunteer Residency

At our weeklong Volunteer Fellows Residency every July you’ll get full support in scaling your project in person, learn from other Fellows & explore the bush and beach of either Tanzania or South Africa. Dates & costs per the program will be sent to Volunteer Fellows directly.

Using our decade in Tanzania to curate the most unique experiences

We’ve curated a space for volunteers to taste & try different foods & local products, while learning Kiswahili. You’ll pick mangos, make fresh juice & explore the local culture, while connecting with other Volunteer Fellows & sharing your project with the community.

Curious how you’ll make a long term impact in the community?

This is what our community partner in Tanzania has to say:

“Since FUWAVITA started to work in partnership with A Tree that Grows, things have changed so much. A Tree that Grows has enabled FUWAVITA to reach its dream of empowering women with disabilities through economic generation in Tanzania & across Africa”
